About the Brand Change
Has EmTroniX disappeared?
No. The company, the team, the products, and the expertise are all still here. What has changed is the commercial name under which we operate. EmTroniX and Anywaves have merged into one unified organisation, and that organisation now goes by a single name: Anywaves. Nothing has been shut down or discontinued.
Is this a name change for EmTroniX?
Not exactly. This is not simply EmTroniX being renamed. It is a genuine merger of two companies — Anywaves (Toulouse and USA) and EmTroniX (Luxembourg) — into one integrated group operating under a shared brand. The new Anywaves is a broader organisation than either former company was on its own.
The Anywaves name was chosen as the brand for the unified group, with the Luxembourg site now referred to as Anywaves Luxembourg.
Has EmTroniX legally changed its name?
No. For the time being, the Luxembourg business remains legally registered under the EmTroniX Sàrl legal entity. Commercially, however, all business activities, communications, products, and services are now conducted under the consolidated Anywaves brand.
About the Team
Will I still be working with the same people?
Yes. The teams from Luxembourg and Toulouse are the same people you have always worked with. No roles have been eliminated as a result of the merger. Your contacts remain in place, now operating as part of the broader Anywaves organisation.
Who leads the Luxembourg entity now?
Étienne Le Bras has been appointed CEO of the Luxembourg entity (Anywaves Luxembourg, formerly EmTroniX). He previously served as Chief Operating Officer at EmTroniX and has played a central role in shaping the company’s product portfolio and industrial development. He is supported by a newly structured Board of Directors covering technology, quality, manufacturing, programmes, and human resources.
Cédric Lorant remains actively involved in the group as Chief Scientific Officer. In this role, he focuses on expert technical topics, innovation, and scientific development — areas where his deep expertise continues to benefit the organisation and its customers.
About Products and Services
Are EmTroniX products still available?
Yes. The full EmTroniX product portfolio — including software-defined radios, RF front ends, low-noise amplifiers, downconverters, power and payload electronics, and onboard processing solutions — remains available. These products are now presented as part of the broader Anywaves catalogue, alongside the antenna and RF technology lines from Toulouse.
Has anything changed in how products are delivered or supported?
No. Delivery, support, and engineering processes continue as before. The merger has been designed to ensure continuity for customers, with no disruption to ongoing programmes or commitments.
Are existing contracts and commitments still valid?
Yes. All existing contracts, agreements, and commitments entered into with EmTroniX remain fully in force. The legal entity (EmTroniX Sàrl) has not changed, and your rights and obligations under current agreements are unaffected.
About Communication and Contacts
Where is the new website?
The new unified website is at anywaves.com. It brings together the full combined product catalogue, flight heritage, company information, and technical resources from both former companies in one place.
What happened to the EmTroniX website?
The emtronix.lu website has been replaced by the new Anywaves platform. All news and announcements previously published on emtronix.lu have been republished in the Anywaves news section, so you can still find the full history of the company’s communications there.
Who should I contact if I have a question or an ongoing project?

How do I stay informed about news from the Luxembourg team?

About the Merger and What It Means
What does this merger mean for my business with Anywaves?
In the short term, very little changes in how you work with us day-to-day. Your contacts are the same, your contracts are unchanged, and the products you rely on are still available. Over time, the merger means you will have access to a broader and more integrated portfolio — combining antennas, RF systems, and electronics — with one team and one point of contact across all of it.
Does the merger affect the Luxembourg team’s focus on space electronics?
No. The Luxembourg site continues to specialise in space electronics, including software-defined radio, avionics, RF systems, and related technologies. The merger adds complementary antenna and RF expertise from Toulouse without changing the core focus or capabilities of the Luxembourg team.
Is Anywaves still a European company?
Yes… and more than that. Anywaves remains deeply European in its heritage, culture, and long-standing commitment to European space programmes. The company continues to maintain a strong European presence, with sites in Toulouse (France) and Hautcharage (Luxembourg).
At the same time, Anywaves has evolved into a truly global space technology company. Today, we serve customers worldwide and support space missions across all major markets. Our presence in Austin, Texas, reflects our long-term commitment to the U.S. space ecosystem and strengthens our ability to support customers locally.
While our European roots remain a core part of our identity, Anywaves now operates as a global company, bringing together European expertise and international reach to serve the worldwide space market.
