Our Flight Heritage

Our flight heritage is the clearest proof of what we stand for: reliable, high-performance RF and antenna solutions tested against the harshest environment there is — space. From TT&C antennas on CNES nanosatellites to radar payloads on ESA’s planetary defence missions, our systems have flown on board science satellites, commercial constellations, exploration probes, spectrum monitoring platforms, and reusable launchers alike.

Every mission we support is built on the same foundation: rigorous ECSS-compliant engineering, end-to-end in-house manufacturing, and a relentless focus on performance at the system level. Today, our combined expertise in space antennas and RF electronics — covering Software Defined Radio, wideband spectrum monitoring, and custom payload electronics — means we can take on more of your mission stack, from the antenna aperture to the signal chain. Across LEO, MEO, and beyond, our antennas and RF subsystems are already aboard. Yours could be next.

Trusted by the world’s leading space agencies

ESA — European Space Agency

From planetary defence with HERA and Juventas, to atmospheric science with ALTIUS and the Arctic Weather Satellite, our antenna and RF solutions have been selected across multiple ESA programmes — reflecting the agency’s confidence in our engineering rigour and ECSS-compliant processes.

CNES — French National Centre for Space Studies

Our partnership with CNES spans over a decade and several landmark missions: EyeSat, ANGELS, N3SS, CO3D, and the Celeste LEO-PNT demonstrators. These collaborations have driven some of our most significant product milestones, from our first S-band antenna in orbit to multi-band LEO-PNT payload configurations.

JAXA — Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency

Our antennas are part of the Mars Moons Exploration (MMX) mission, a JAXA-led programme targeting the Martian moons Phobos and Deimos. A testament to the international reach of our flight heritage and the trust placed in our products for deep space.

SDA — Space Development Agency (US)

Selected by multiple SDA contractors for the Transport Layer Tranche 1/2 and Tracking Layer constellations, our GNSS and S-band TT&C antennas are contributing to the next generation of US defence space architecture — a programme demanding the highest levels of reliability and performance at scale.

LSA – Luxembourg Space Agency

In Luxembourg, Anywaves drives its innovation activities within a strong institutional ecosystem. The Luxembourg Space Agency and Luxinnovation support selected programmes and tooling investments, complementing the company’s own development efforts and reinforcing long-term industrial capability. This context provides both continuity and external validation.

Questions
& Answers

  • What is flight heritage in the space industry?

Flight heritage refers to a product or technology’s proven track record in space — meaning it has been successfully launched, operated, and validated in orbit or on a space mission. It is one of the most critical criteria for satellite programme managers when selecting components, as it significantly reduces mission risk.

  • How many missions does Anywaves’ flight heritage cover?

Our combined flight heritage spans more than 50 missions across LEO, MEO, and deep space — covering Earth observation, navigation, defence, science, spectrum monitoring, and launcher applications. This portfolio includes both antenna systems and RF electronics and payload subsystems.

  • Which frequency bands does Anywaves cover in its flight-proven products?

Our flight-heritage products cover S-band (TT&C), X-band (data downlink), GNSS multi-band (L1/E1 and All-Bands), C-band, L-band (payload), and wideband configurations. Our RF electronics heritage additionally covers VHF/UHF, AIS, ADS-B, and Software Defined Radio platforms.

  • Does Anywaves work with both institutional and commercial customers?

Yes. Our references span major space agencies — including ESA, CNES, and JAXA — as well as leading commercial operators and New Space companies. From flagship institutional programmes to high-volume commercial constellations, we adapt our product and service offering to each programme’s specific requirements.

  • Can I get a custom antenna or RF solution for my mission?

Absolutely. Beyond our standard product catalogue, we have an extensive track record in custom RF and antenna development — from mission-specific payload antennas to fully bespoke electronics. Contact our team to discuss your requirements.
