Description

Anywaves’ Low Gain X-Band antenna is an ultra-thin and compact antenna specifically designed for the payload telemetry subsystem. It enables the downlink of mission data from the satellite to the ground segment with wide angular coverage, making it an ideal solution when broader visibility is required.

Thanks to its reliable hemispherical coverage, this antenna ensures robust communication performance over a wide field of view, particularly suited for LEO platforms with varying ground track visibility.

With its low-profile design and form factor under 1U, it integrates seamlessly into nanosatellite architectures. It offers single circular polarization and has been engineered to maintain consistent performance across a broad angular range.

Additionally, the antenna is protected by a dedicated radome, ensuring robustness against harsh environmental conditions such as temperature extremes and electrostatic discharge (ESD)—a key factor for both testing and in-orbit reliability.
